I was at the range today with my brother getting ready for a match next sat. We both shoot matching 20sf's with LW .40 conversion barrels. Both guns are well taken care of. About 150 rnds into the day, the trigger on my brothers gun started acting up and not resetting. After putting on my thinking cap I decided to detail strip the slide (on my tail gate) and found a small shard of brass stuck in the striker channel binding up the striker. We are very careful to not get oil in the area. The funning thing is that I had just detail striped the slide about 1000 rnds before when installing marine cups. The lesson learned, if your life depends on your gun it's a good idea to regularly clean.

PS. I also tried some +10 wolf and 11 coil glock mag springs today and they both ran great with no premature lock backs. Also the 11 coil seems a smidge stiffer than the wolf.
