Gotta like it. Although I wished they would have hit the gunman; they shook him up by shooting at him, then he dropped the gun, maybe he will think twice about robbing another store...hopefully he gets caught, one way or another!
I am encouraged by the more recent stories of store owners and clerks being armed and shooting back, to protect themselves.
People don't have any way of knowing if this is going to be the robbery where the witnesses are going to be killed, or not. The only reasonable recourse is to protect yourself and the evidence shows it works.
Remember, one 60 year old woman fighting 4 armed robbers and winning.
I have a little bit of a problem shooting AFTER THE PERPS HAVE LEFT THE BUILDING. I don't want to be the poor sucker walking across a parking lot 100 feet (or 500) away getting popped by a panicky clerk.
I agree. I'm sure the clerk was excited to say the least and I'm glad no innocent bystanders were harmed.
