Does anyone know, offhand, what the ideal seat height is for a stool to be used at a 42" loading bench ?

    Thank you.

3-5-7, my bench is 36 3/4" high and I use a 30" bar stool. I'm 6' and reload while sitting. I'd think that a 36" stool would be appropriate.

Get a good shock absorbing floor mat & reload standing up. Much easier on your back in the long run.
F.L. sizing anything substantial is almost impossible while sitting.

That's a pretty tall bench. Mine is 31" tall and my seat is 21-22" and it works perfectly with RCBS single stage presses and a Forster Co-Ax plus my priming tool. I couldn't load standing and have no problems sitting with any operations.
