It is over for Il, they just tried to borrow another half a billion dollars, but couldn't do it (interest rate too high) Get ready to bail this crap hole out.

This was just reported by Stuart Varney on Fox

I think it was reported that the GDP went down a half percent. We can't bail states out when the recession hits and the country. Weds a bail out.

I wish I knew how it was gonna pan out. I think red states should secede.

I would be very happy to splinter off and join KY or MO, I am within an hour of both........and only slightly farther from IN (another pretty good choice)

People at this end of the state are very POed.

Don't forget to leave a quarter and flush twice.

Liberal policies destroy. Always. No exceptions.

The feds will bail them out. California too. What harm is another trillion or two in funny money going to cause?

As long as they have a crooked Chicago politician in the whitehouse, giving away imaginary money, what's the problem? He'll give them some.

It actually went down by 3.2% to -0.1%. Beyond awful. I have absolutely no sympathy for that state after they just raised teacher's salaries in Chicago to $100,000+benefits, despite facing a huge debt crisis.

I would like to see southern IL separate from the northern part of the state and form two states.

Better yet would be to give the Chicago area to Canada.
