    It's OK, we're used to it. Anything up to a Cat 2+ is just another reason to party.

    We are equipped to handle 10+ inches of rain a day with no problem. It's the 4+inches per hour that fill the bowl.

    Katrina is the only storm I ran from in my 49+ years in this area. Glad I did, 'cause she left 2.5ft of the Gulf of Mexico in my house for 28 hours.

    Sometimes, you're not sure...the media and the way they report things, you can't be sure where the truth lies!

    Same thing in Central Florida. We rarely get anything worth fretting about, but in 2004, everything was different.

    Our local weatherman, STILL plays that card even though nothing has been that bad since. We listen a little more than ever before.

    Better safe than sorry. I think, we pay more attention than we use to!

    I pray we never have to pay attention again!

    It's NO fun when it really is bad!!!
