    Googling will find other versions of the article.

    Note: GM foods are allowed to be planted widely in the USA, and congress recently killed a bill that would have required GM ingredients be listed on food packages.

    GM isn't all bad....if they are throughouly tested. Problem is the FDA is in charge.

    Second problem, farmers who produce organic foods will be SOL because cross seeding occurs miles away with GMOs.

    Define "Thoroughly".

    Would that include all possible interactions with native wildlife? All possible crossings with other plants?

    Because I can tell you how Monsanto defines "thoroughly".

    The fact that they fight so hard to PREVENT people from being allowed to label food as "GM free" should tell you where their priorities are.

    A research firm concluded that Monsanto GM crops are killing honey bees. Monsanto bought the research firm.
