(note to BoG docs: these are U.S. stats, so di yata kayo kasali)

    (1) The number of physicians in the U.S. is 700,000.
Accidental deaths caused by Physicians per year are 120,000.
(Calculation) Accidental deaths per physician is 0.171.
Statistics courtesy of U.S. Dept of Health Human Services.

    (2) The number of gun owners in the U.S. is 80 million.
The number of accidental gun deaths per year, all age groups, is 1,500.
(Calculation) The number of accidental deaths per gun owner is 0.000188.
    Statistics courtesy of FBI.

So, statistically, doctors are approximately 9,000 times more dangerous than
gun owners... Remember, 'Guns don't kill people, doctors do.'

FACT: NOT EVERYONE HAS A GUN, BUT ALMOST EVERYONE HAS AT LEAST ONE DOCTOR.

Please alert your friends to this alarming threat.
We must ban doctors before this gets completely out of hand!!!!

Out of concern for the public at large, I have withheld the statistics on
lawyers for fear the shock would cause people to panic and seek medical
    attention...

    Difference is:
You take a risk with a doctor out of concern over your existing condition.
You generally don't plan on consulting with a bullet to be upping your health.

My opinion of doctors is that they tend to rise to the top of most contexts,
Just like cream rises to the top, ...or just like the foulest pond scum.

Lawyers? Just too many of their kind are the Devil's eager agents,
and I'd consign them to the Fiery Pits, but it'd just be a homecoming for 'em.

    Cheers,

So base on the statistics below calculation is chances of threats factor to once life..

X threat factor = Number of hours with doctor per year X No of Doctor X 0.171 (Accidental deaths per physician)

    versus

Y threat factor = Number of Hours with gun per year X No. of Gun X 0.000188 (The number of accidental deaths per gun owner)

Well if it ain't the treatment, it's the professional fee that would kill you later on.

There are also cases of medical malpractice here that result in death. Nobody knows how many per year. Nobody seems to compile stats. The hospitals certainly will not tell you- its bad for business. The medical associations will not tell you- they have an old-boy network and no MD would rat on another MD. That's (ahem!) "unethical". The law enforcement agencies? Hmmm....

The real question that we should ask is:

How many people go to visit the doctor everyday?

How many people face the barrel of a gun everyday?

That stat is pretty old. There are way more than 80 million gun owners now. I get your point though. I used this very statistic back in 06 for an english paper. Lets ban cars since they are used in drive by shootings.
