so is carry legal in the state parks right now or not? i thought they changed the law (thanks mitch) but i vaguely recall it being reverted. so what is the current law?

There never was a "law", it was an administrative rule by DNR. DNR has set this rule aside on a trial basis and plan on reviewing it next year. As it stands now it is OK to carry in Indiana state parks.

The esteemed Mr. Emmelman is correct on all counts.

Which is also a reminder that we need to make our opinions known to the DNR and Natural Resources Commission. We want the changes enacted last year made PERMANENT.

I open carried my glcok 21 at Turkey run a few weeks back. I was kind of hoping someone would notice so I could actually talk to them... but I think my doberman and german shepherds acted as deterrents...
