Guys, maybe you can help out. My girlfriend wants to get into the sport and i can't think of a gun that would be ok for her. she's 5'2" and she was able to handle my STI full size long dust. budget would be around 25-30k :p any suggestions would be much appreciated.

    Thanks!

    almost home

My advice is to take her on a gunstore tour, and let her shop around.
Renting/borrowing different pistols at the range is even better.
    Informed choice baga.

    :)

I've been asked this lots of times
38spl j frame , depende na sa kanya what legth of barrel
I prefer snubbie , kasi maikli ang barrel tapos 5 shots lang
Malaki yung chance na maka ilag ako

and no , she doesnt need a semi auto

1911's are probably the easiest to shoot but to master the manual of arms, she will need focused and specialized training.

i agree with makoy's advice of an armscor 1911 in 9mm

@Pot, Well we've made arrangements already that i keep the gun when not in the range...mahirap na diba?! hehehe

@Doc, the problem is she would have a hard time with the safeties unlike a production gun...or matinding training na lang muna siguro. CZ kaya? mahal kasi ng stock II eh hehehe...(parang ako may gusto ng stock II eh hehehe )

@fafa A, gusto lumaro kasi kaya no go ang revo but i considered it already and she said
"NO" as in with a big "NO" hehehe

with her budget aside from armscor ano pa kaya pwde? thanks guys!

Matigas kasi trigger pull... but my wife prefers it over a pistol due to the simplicity of operation...

brought her to Galleria this afternoon and she handled the following beng bengs....

Taurus 24/7 at first she liked it...then she was given the titanium 24/7 ok ang grip sa kamay nya...but then again medyo she doesn't like the way it looks daw...WOMEN TALAGA OH.... =P

Then we went to twinpines and i told her to choose among the displayed guns...ayaw nya ng M&P, ayaw nya ng S&W sigma, of course no Glocks for her...and then.....lo and behold...the CZ SP-01 tactical and SP-01 phantom...she liked the polymer frame phantom...medyo mataas lang for her budget...but i think she's considering it...but i insist on the tactical para steel frame...to pave the way for a 1911 singelstack or maybe the altar piece...(pag dumating na SVI dito satin with all the new whistles).

She wants to try it though...anybody know a range where they have it for rent so she can test it??? or baka meron gusto mag pa gamit kahit ilang rounds lang....

Guys what's the difference between the Tactical and the shadow na SP-01??
