I was talking to someone at Bersa Chat about the disconnector spring on a Bersa .380. It has been known to break and in the past I always considered it a warranty issue. Now I'm wondering if I can do it myself, think I can. I've taken apart and replaced parts on Colt, S&W and many others. I am not a trained gunsmith.

Here's a pic from the Bersa Chapter house, about half way down the page

Looks like just a couple of punches on the frame holding right arm of the spring to the frame.

Any of you done this? Opinions on if you'd try? The spring costs 1.50 vs shipping costs to a warranty station and time.

    Thanks for the help.
