I bought a SR22 today and headed to the range. It worked great with 1 mag. The other didn't work at all. The trigger wouldn't reset or wouldn't even allow the first shot or would work for a shot or two and then not reset again. I asked the guys at the range to check it out and they couldn't see anything wrong with the gun or mag. They were nice enough to loan me a couple of mags from their rental SR22 and we shot about 500 rounds with no issues from their two mags and my one good mag. The range told me to call Ruger and they'll probably just send me a new mag. I emailed their customer service. He says if they don't want to non-functioning one to try to sand off a bit of material from the opening where the follower moves up & down. I sent a message to the owner of the store where I bought it and he says if Ruger doesn't take care of it he'll take the bad one and give me a new one.

Anybody else had this problem? I'm sure I'll get it taken care of one way or another but it was frustrating at the time.

I called Ruger and they sent a replacement mag within 3 days. Great customer service!

We took it out again tonight. It hates cci blazer!! Jammed like crazy with it. With federal it was much better. It did fail to feed the second round sometimes. Not sure why. It was always the second round but then it was good.
