I have alot of squiggle lines going across my computer monitor. I bought a larger monitor but it still does it so it must be something with the hard drive. Does anybody know how I can eliminate this? Thanks.

May be your video card going bad.Or you may want to try to change your refresh rate.

And try a different video driver, if that doesn't help.
  4. Video drivers get corupted often.try reinstalling the video driver.Maybe uninstall the current one first. If they are gray lines it's likely your video card is burning up.If it has a fan that might have quit it might have overheated and been damaged.

Also check for any nearby device that could be interfering with the monitor. I can always tell when my cell phone is about to ring because the monitor gets distorted.
