We normally wear all the gear, but on this day we were baking, and threw our jackets in the bags.

Anybody who might say that a wing can't be sporty should watch a video of Yellow Wolf on The Dragon!

A Gold Wing leans quite nicely. The floorboards on my Wing were ground to nearly knife edges.

Probably not hard to do when all you need is 15* of lean angle to start scraping stuff......

I've had my lunch bought for me at the Cross Roads of Time, (The store on the Nc. side of Deals Gap) by a couple of guys on cbrs, when I passed them on the way to the store on my wing.

I think they were from Iowa.
It was my one, fleeting, moment of glory.

Coming from Florida, Deals Gap is crazy. I got passed by everything and anything. I did get to let it hang out some on the Cherohala Skyway though.

I enjoy the Cherohala Skyway more and the Blue Ridge even better. My personal tilt ole meter does not go down that far. Dont get me wrong the Dragon is a BLAST........but just personal for me.

Ya dude, where are the flip-flops?

  12. Indeed.

However dripping wet from florida heat.

Feeling like I am going to pass out.

Is considerably more hazardous (IMHO) than riding without a jacket.

Reason why I ride more during the florida winter months -- able to fully gear up
