I just picked up one of these and haven't been able to find out much about them. Are they rare and the main thing are they dependable- haven't gone to the range yet.

Not much on photography as you can tell. These are some Hogues I had for my 357. It came with the stock grips.

Looks like they didn't make it. Will try later.

  6. They are worthless and they suck, but since I'm such a nice guy, send it to me and I'll give you what you paid for it.

did it come with a extra cylinder seems like Ruger use to produce a 357 revolver that with a cylinder change could shot some type of 9mm ammo I don't think it was 9x19 thought 9mm Parabellum I think please don't quote me on this thought cause I might be wrong.

Will try to post pictures this weekend.
ChuteTheMall-I appreciate the offer, but after going to the range,I think I'll force myself into keeping it for a while. But you never can tell-keep a look out on the classifieds.
HotRoderX- It is a Ruger SP101 3" revolver-just set up for 9mm (from the factory) and uses moon clips-if you want to use them. They were discontinued around 2000, I think.
It sure is a lot more fun to shoot - compared to my 2 1/4" 357 Sp 101 - and cheaper.

I was about to get an SP101 3" 38/357 but your post may have put that on hold. I reload 9mm so it'd be a good excuse. As usual I'd chalk the purchase up to "saving" money.

Sorry for the delay on the pictures. the 2 1/4" is my 357 and the 3" is the 9mm

    Enjoy.
    Not many made.
Was like an off year project for Ruger.

Something they should offer for the LCR, if not a larger sized LCR in .44 Special.

Also, am I the only Ruger fan that wants them to offer a 3 inch .357 LCR?

I've always wanted a revolver in 9mm, why are they rare?? Not just the SP101 but all revolvers in general.
