Only $925? I feel I should pay more than that for such a fine piece of craftsmanship......

Thanks for the heads up! I just hit the BIN button! I love the chip on the right side of the grip. Looks like some possible chipped teeth in the checkering. Man, that really gives it alot of character. Can't wait until it lands at my FFL!!!
If they would have added a gold trigger they could have asked for more
It started life as a standard PT1911, but now it's the bees knees in the Taurus community!!
I'm not sure which is dumber...
1. Sinking that money into a Taurus 1911...
or 2. Thinking you're going to get it back out.
I knew you would like it, Joe!
Holy crap,.........that Custom Job looks better than a Fusion!
Was it a bond movie where the gun fired backwards or blew up?
You know I'd take it except I have that thing, at that place, with that guy....... Cheers Brian.
That is all I could see on that thing when I clicked the link. I was happy that there was a second pic of the right side because I couldn't tell if that was a chip or just a messed up picture. I'm glad I'm not the only one.
hell he should be paying us to take the damn thing...that is one ugly 1911...and I have seen very few ugly 1911's!!!
Well it is the best looking Taurus 1911 I have seen. I mean no gold bling at least
OK, I looked everything up.
Smith Alexander mag well, $86 retail. You remove main spring housing and replace with new main spring housing with mag well attached.
Novak tritium sights for Taurus, front $54.99 retail and rear $99.99 retail. Push out old sights and push in new sights.
Beveled all edges. Looks like Mr. VandenBerg may have broken the edges with a file.
Custom polymer-composite (tan, monochrome) or spray paint and bake job. Not sure how to price that.
Unique ding in on right side of grip - priceless.
Buy it now $925
For a split second I was thinking it was a sig....then I read it was a Taurus. lol
Buy it now $925
Yeah, it's crazy. If someone even offers the price if a new railed Taurus, they need to have their head examined.
Thanks for the heads up. I was expecting more from you.
