Thanks to Generalcarry(thumbs up to ya' buddy), I have done a little research. Here is a an interresting page from the VA website that a lot of veterans are unaware of. I'm calling this week for the form, since I have prostate cancer, so we'll see how it goes. Thanks General!

I was in error on the subject of the above post. I left out "VietNam". For that, I am sorry. I did not intend to sound presumptive.

The best way to apply is to contact your County's Veterans Services Officer, usually located in your County building.

Be sure to apply ASAP, since all benefits approved are effective the date you apply, NOT the date of the onset of the disease.

I've been 100% service-connected disabled since 2003, multiple myeloma considered presumptive to Agent Orange exposure when in Vietnam. VA has been very good to me.

Good luck, and hope your disease is successfully treated!
