Soldier’s Heart

Discussion in 'Veteran's Forum' started by Blitzer, Dec 10, 2009.

  1. Soldier’s Heart is a veterans’ return and healing project addressing the emotional and spiritual needs of veterans, their families and communities.

Soldier’s Heart promotes and guides community-based efforts to heal the effects of war based on strategies presented in “War and the Soul” by Dr. Edward Tick.

Soldier’s Heart, a project of International Humanities Center, is dedicated to our veterans’ successful return. We are a not for profit 501(c)(3) project of the International Humanities Center.

"Veterans are the light at the tip of the candle, illuminating the way for the whole nation. If veterans can achieve awareness, transformation, understanding, and peace, they can share with the rest of society the realities of war. And they can teach us how to make peace with ourselves and each other, so we never have to use violence to resolve conflicts again".

Not sure why, but something about this doesn't sit right. I almost get a feeling it's more of an antiwar/antivet thing what with the comments about not ever haiving to use violence to solve future conflicts. Heaven knows there was enough of this type of BS around when I to back to the world.
