Sold my Ruger LCP

Discussion in 'General Firearms Forum' started by rilkil23, May 9, 2012.

  1. I know the LCP is popular and works very well for pocket carry but I opted to sell it. I chose to keep the LC9 because of it being the same caliber as my wifes carry gun and my Kel-tec Sub2000 in 9mm. I never had an issue with the LCP but just felt like pocket carry was a very last resort. I bought a smartcarry that works perfectly for my LC9. I realize the smartcarry isn't any faster, when compared to drawing a weapon from my pocket, but the larger caliber, much better sights, and having an extra round in the LC9 was reason enough. The snubby S&W revolver and the tiny LCP were fun experiments that just didn't do what I needed them to do. I am now running 9mm and 40S&W in all my carry guns so that is a plus. What to get next? I currently have the Ruger LC9, Glock22 in Generation 4, and still hoping to sell my Xd40 sc in favor of a G23 or G27. Will it ever end?

It's all about what works best for you and what you can train well with...not what some dork on a computer 2k miles away thinks.

Other than that, the disease will never end.

I sold my LCP also (for more than what I paid!) because I never used it....never even fired it. I carry a KT P-32 every day in my pocket and couldn't be happier.

I stopped selling guns. I sold several that I regret in my younger days.

Who is going to get them when your time is up? I am so afraid that my kids will just get rid of them for 50 cents on the $.

I love mine. The Keltec PF9 I could part with. I want to like this gun so much but the hangups I've incurred makes me feel like it's a cheating wife.

I sold mine as well. I don't see the need for a pocket gun. If I can't carry my G32, it's because it's against the law to carry a gun there. If I need to shoot a vicious man eatin' tabby cat, I'll plug 'em with a .22.

Who cares dude? When you start feeding the worms, let your kids do what they need to do with the stuff you can't use anymore. It will probably be better that way anyway because then your guns will go to people who will love them.

That's weird. I thought you didn't like Glocks. And I thought you only shot guns chambered in .380, .32, .25, and .22.
