Hate to break it to you, but why do you think they put a picture of a deer on the sign? BECAUSE DEER CAN'T READ!

That said, thank God they don't have the same people setting up school crossing zones...

So the B.S. across the street from me finally came to a head last night. The scrote and his flavor of the week generally drink and fight on the weekends but they thought early Tuesday sounded fun, long story short, he's beating on her and she is trying to leave so she cuts him with a beer bottle old west style. She tries to leave but is too intoxicated to start the car while he is bleeding out in the snow bank. City PD Sheriff Dept. and EMS arrive shortly after. Both are taken away kids are given to CPS for now.

Moral of the story is: if you stab someone in the snow it looks A LOT messier in the morning light.

ETA: City inspector is over there as I type condemning the house.

It was a wild night with that craziness going on. I feel bad for the kids over there, the boy is in my younger one's class and she said he wasn't at school today.

    yes

doing nothing all day is really exhausting.

highlight of my days was... asking my GF whats for dinner after she came home from a 12 hour shift.

got my new laptop running.. Big Fu to Microsoft. I am a MS fan, but their OEM versions of Windows suck so much that bill Gates deserves a kick in the balls. Took me two days to get that ssd running and it only works because I got a free win8.1 license through a friend. Laptop is quite nice now though.

I feel for you. I used to love Windows, but not necessarily hate or dislike Apple. I just didn't know Apple. The day Windows 8 came out, I went Mac. My buddy just gave me a huge blue Alienware Windows machine which had Windows Vista. I upped it to Windows 7 which I was pretty happy with before I went Mac. I use this machine to pretty much run an old game and to access my work servers so I can do work from home.

My wife was "given" a Windows Surface at work, and other than updating it to the latest software, we haven't used it. We hate the thing but love our iPads. One thing I may use the surface for is taking it on extradition runs where I may have to do some office work. One day, I'm hoping to be able to do all of that on a Mac.

I just dont like the apple/mac attitude of "you can use it but its still ours".
