Who likes the US Springfield grips? I happen to like them a lot, but people seem to think they are cheesy.:crying:

So what says the brain trust?

I've always liked them. The Springfield GI is pretty close to the real thing, unlike some others.

Mine is stainless, so that isn't, but the specs are.

Awesome. I like it, but it won't be the same I plan on attacking it when I get some money. But keeping the grips.

I want to upgrade the clips, anyone know where to get parts gold dipped?

  4. They are a little bland. If all you want is a 1911 to shoot once in a while I think they are fine but as most of us here we just got to change **** around.

    Those grips are not realistic.

Replacing them with authentic USGI grips drastically improves the "military"
look of the SA GI 45.

No kidding, but its not a USGI, its a replica.

If you want a real USGI, buy one.
