I have to say I think Glocks belong in garbage cans  but I was under the impression they were the "affordable" alternative to the HK's, SIG's custom 1911's etc...

I have had many many Glocks over the years and remember w/o too much effort, for $500 I was on my way OTD .. this was maybe 2004ish

I went to Gander Mtn today as I had business to do near there, they bill themselves as the biggest gunstore in FL btw. After walking in there, I tend to believe it. So I am just going along this endless counter in alphabetic order and see about 50 Glocks in the Glock case.

The Gen 3 G22 was $555, the Gen 4 G22 next to it was $709.
They had some special aniv. one 25th Year G17 for $899.00

I asked the heavily tatted up fat chick behind the counter if they were competitive w/o other stores and she is like umm yeah

So how are these prices ?

Had to lol they have Hi-Points and HK's in the same case section, talk about screwing w/ first timers.

They had a chrome Ruger Vaquero that was very cool though for $700

Let me just say Gander Mountain is the last place to gauge firearms pricing. I see them new around here (Michigan) from $499.00 to 559.00 w/o night sights and for the basic models (plus tax.)

Got my Gen3 G32 for 540 OTD and my Gen3 G21SF for 580 OTD. I paid more for my Gen3 G20SF because I got it online it was 640 OTD.

That sounds high. I've gotten all 3 of my guns at a local small store around the corner. I paid $499 for my Glock23 Gen3. They had many Glock models, mostly Gen3, all were $499.

Remember, this was a small non-chain gun store. Surprised that was the price at Gander Mtn.

oops thx for that, non of these had NS.

They had my FiveSeven for 1300, and the girl said you need a special permit for that one :dunno:

    I think I pd right at 900 for mine..only a $400 diff I guess.

Oh have to add they had 5 or 6 G24's and G25's umm ?

I just paid $550 plus tax for a Gen 4 G17 about a month ago. I saw one in another shop a couple of weeks later for $539.

I paid $525 + tax for my gen 4 19... Gander Mountain usually sucks at pricing things, unless those things happen to be surplus or something along those lines.

Paid $450 for my 19 gen 4 (had a discount), plus transfer fee (35$), Galco KingTuk ($50), w 2 boxes Corbon JHPs ($50). Came out to around $600 when I left.
Not too too bad, and I love the Gun. So, I was happy.

If I find a brand that belongs in the "trash can", I won't buy them, I find something I want and enjoy. Tell you what, instead of throwing Glocks in the trash, send them to me, I'll give them a good home............Geesh !

1911's are forever? Yeah okay that'll happen, if your a gunsmith and like fitting parts together. My Glock 30 will outlast any 1911 you have.

I used to like 1911s. Got sick of carrying parts around and clearing jams. Funny, never do that with my Gs.

But hey, some people want to play wanna-be WW2 soldier.
