... how can certain entities (e.g. restaurants in Nancy Pelosi's district) get an exemption?

Please, someone... explain how that is constitutional?

Excellent point -- SEIU union chapters, Pelosi's district, certain Obama-preferred industries and corporations -- pay up your "fair share" of the tax!

After all that has occurred, how could you still look for constitutionality when assessing the actions of the federal state?

Are there those left that still believe the constitution restricts actions of state??

The fact is it isn't Constitutional! Taxes can't be levid on an individual- it has to apply to ALL! No exemptions! Aplly equally or don't apply it!:steamed:

good point. i wonder how this plays out.

As it stands, you're taxed for inactivity and can be exempt if you get coverage. even without the commerce clause, the net effect is the same.

with pre-existing conditions, the insurance cos will have to raise rates till its unaffordable, everyone will bail and take the irs option and the insurance companies go out of business.

The .gov is then forced to create single payer.

And socialism and control of the individual is fully created.

Single payer .gov Ins was/is the goal to start with. Obama said it was and what he said was going to happen is happening.
