are thinking about the riding season????I've been putting the charger on the batteries lately. I try to do it about once a month anyway, but now it seems to have a more immediate purpose!!!!!

I know I am. In preparation I ordered the full 57mm Termi exhaust for my 749R, among other things to get her race prepped.
My SS1000 is getting treated to a new steering damper, oil change, chain cleaning, and some new turn signals.
Now that 50+ degree weather is in the forcast, it seems appropriate to get them both prepped and ready to go.
Winter is just too long up here.

  3. Can't wait to get the harley on the road!!

I'm looking forward to the longer days starting in April so I can get in some daylight riding after work. Also, it'll be nice to have warmer temperatures to ride in. I never actually put the bike away for the cold weather though because we've been having 50-60 days here and there and I've had pretty good luck at getting it out for at least an hour each weekend. The longest I've gone is two weekends where it was too cold and slightly wet for me to want to ride.

    Neither here nor there
It's been in the mid-30's here in the mornings and no snow. Makes for a yearlong riding season! I've been riding all winter!

I've been riding so much lately, I haven't even given a thought as to when riding season starts.

It got below freezing last week. Had to "put her up" for the winter. That is all over now. 77*!!

14* and 6.5 feet of snow outside. Warmed up to mid 30's today. Yeah, I'm ready for spring. Roads are clear for right now, but will have to wait until May before it warms up to tolerate the wind at 60mph trips to school and work. 60* at 60mph is a little chilly at times. I ordered a front tire and have a fork overhaul scheduled for mid April. I am replacing the brake and fuel lines and spark plug wires and a few bulbs. Finding 3.4W bulbs is a royal PITA!! Holy cow.

I can't wait to get the chopper back on the road. But now I'm in Anchorage so it will be a while. But We'll both be ready to make some noise come nice weather.
  15. I've had 2 days that I couldn't ride this winter. One was due to a light rain that made the roads too slick by bringing all the oil in the road to the surface, IMO. The second was on the morning of a "Hard Freeze" and I didn't want to have to deal with any ice.

Other than that, everyday is riding day. :)
