I like it. Back in the 1980s I had a Rossi 12 gauge Coach Gun with external hammers. I really liked that gun but got hard up and sold it. That Chiappa would be nice to have.
I wish one of those companies that does western replicas would bring back the Burgess folding shotgun, that would be cooler than this. I do like 3 barrels though, just a little. On the magazine cover they all wear breacher screw in tubes and they look particularly awesome.
More than on shot with a single pull of the trigger. That fits the definition if a machine gun as I read it. However ATF allowed the double barrel .45 acp to be sold and it fires 2 shots with a single trigger.
posted from my stupid smart phone, please excuse any spelling mistakes.
I'm not a shot gunner - and I'm honestly asking, not trying to pick a fight or make a point - but is there a special purpose this serves? Was there someone saying - gosh, I want the dependability of a double barrel with the capacity of semi-auto? Is this for birding, or just fun?

Oh, and I read an article on this. they had a device that had a number of insertable rifled tubes you could put in the barrel, let you fire different rounds , some pistol, some rifle. The bad part about that was that it was only about 7 inchs worth of barrel inside your 12 gauge tube, so I doubt you were getting a whole lot of benefit from a 308 fired from a 7 inch barrel.

I wonder why Chiappa chose to have the triple threat manufactured in Turkey, rather than Italy?
