:rofl: Even "Shotgun Joe" would like that one, one extra shot to help scare off the bad guys.

  3. Can it be rigged to fire all 3 barrels at once? & what does the muzzle(s!!!) end of that thing look like???

I can't be fired all three at once. It has a single trigger and it fires sequentially, right barrel, left barrel, top barrel.
  5. My wife already spotted it in a gun rag at the store.

    She wants one.

  6. not enough rails on it for the american market

I like it. Back in the 1980s I had a Rossi 12 gauge Coach Gun with external hammers. I really liked that gun but got hard up and sold it. That Chiappa would be nice to have.
  8. Chiappa sure likes to think outside the box.

I wish one of those companies that does western replicas would bring back the Burgess folding shotgun, that would be cooler than this. I do like 3 barrels though, just a little. On the magazine cover they all wear breacher screw in tubes and they look particularly awesome.
  10. If it had a barrel selector it would be neat round here with a different load in each barrel.
  11. Would that make it by definition a machine gun? :D
  12. More than on shot with a single pull of the trigger. That fits the definition if a machine gun as I read it. However ATF allowed the double barrel .45 acp to be sold and it fires 2 shots with a single trigger.

I'm not a shot gunner - and I'm honestly asking, not trying to pick a fight or make a point - but is there a special purpose this serves? Was there someone saying - gosh, I want the dependability of a double barrel with the capacity of semi-auto? Is this for birding, or just fun?
  14. I would GUESS, it's a novelty more than anything - Chiappa is known for their unorthodox designs. I don't think it's anything more than that.

  15. But it's a .12.. I don't think I can find that ammo anywhere..
  16. Well, we went from one barrel to two now to three. The COP derringer had 4 barrels of 357 magnum.
  17. You gotta admit, it does have a "get off my porch" factor going for it

    The Pirate HARRRRR!!!

I would be interested if it had a barrel selector...
