Sites for 870 Tactical?

I have a bead site on my 870 Tactical and I want to add a nightsite. The gun is primarily for HD, but I also take it to Alaska for brown bear defense and sometimes carry it on my back while fishing there.
The 870's receiver is drilled on top (factory) with 4 small screws. I was thinking of a rifle site that I could mount off those screws somehow, then adding the front site that attaches to the bead.
Any ideas for a good sturdy set-up that can be banged around some and stay strong? What type of mount do I need to hold a rear site?
I'm not looking for a ghost ring.

    Thanks guys

Yep, and this is what it looks like mounted. This is the best setup, IMO, if you don't want ghost ring sights. And, you have a spare barrel to boot.

Well I don't want to buy another barrel just to get a site, so I guess I have to buy a ghost ring after all. I need to find a solid mount to mate with the 4 screws on the receiver, right? Any ideas?

Put a front bead night sight on it. Meprolight makes one and it's not to expensive. You may or may not have to have the area up front threaded depending on your shotgun.

Maybe you can get one of your reverse mortgages.

XS makes a night sight you can epoxy over your front sight bead. I installed one on my 870P and really like it. The outside ring is white with a trituim dot in the center for low light. I have put some rounds through mine without any problems.
  9. The Trijicon GRS which are the same as the Wilson's are going to run you about $100.
