site for checking vin #'s of used cars

    what's the site for checking a used car for being in accidents? i think you use the vin # right? thanks for any help.

    I used one this summer. It was worth the money! One of the cars
    I was considering had been totalled and the guy forgets to tell
    me about it, go figure...

    Carfax is very sweet if you've decided on particular vehicle. I think it costs $20 for one vehicle or $30 for multiple ones.

    yea, it worked great and was 19.95$ for one car. we bought the car we carfaxed.
