i plan on going. i loaded 200 rounds of ammo yesterday for the occasion.

i hope i can break out of my string of recent suckiness and should have my new sight issues ironed out by then. i spent a little time at bluegrass the other day with a file and a punch 'adjusting' my new competition sights, which were shooting 3" low and 3" right at 7 yards when i first installed them (and tried to shoot them in a match). that explains most of my suckiness the last time i shot an indoor match  . i got the elevation about right, but still need to drift the rear sight a hair more.

    see y'all tomorrow.

I'll be there, running the single stack.

  4. When does it start and when do you think it will be over? I've got a family thing at 2 pm. Think I could do both?

i had a good time this morning with the usual suspects. it was chilly, but not unbearably cold. my fingers did what i told them to most of the time and i managed to make it through with only one mike and NO procedurals, even shooting from that silly car  .

i shot better today than i've been shooting lately, which is good, and i did it with a new pistol (well, okay, it's a CZ75, which isn't 'new' to me, but it was a different 75, my pretty stainless one that's getting put in the carry rotation soon :) ). i did miss the extended mag releases on my other CZ's though, i had to shift my grip to drop mags.

hopefully, i'll be back to shooting my normal match pistol after one more range trip to get my new competition sights correctly set-up. once that happens, i'm going to bear down on my dry-firing, accuracy work and not missing the weekday fun shoots so i can drag my sorry ass up the list in the results column  .
