I am going to have my Sig refinished and I can't decide on what color I want. I am going to use CCR refinishing and I am deciding between Tri-tanium with black controls or two tone with black slide and Tri-tanium frame. What do you guys think?

    My gun as of now.

I'd suggest hardchrome from Metaloy. With NP3+ being a close second.

I am fond of both finishes but they are quite a bit more coin than I want to spend at this time.

ETA- I am looking forward to trying out cerahide because if it proves durable on my Sig, I plan to have my AR done in FDE cerahide.

Chris has a special going on through the end of this month. I think it's $240 for the entire gun IIRC. Give him a call tomorrow 870-423-4225 and tell him Joe sent you. He'll take care of you and his turn around time is great. Best hardchromer in the business hands down.

Nice gun, I love the P239. Mine has ALOT of holster wear with lots of bare metal and the remaining finish is thin, but there is no corrosion.

The slide is stainless, you shouldn't be worried about corrosion.

    I like those wood grips.

If I were to do it, I would have CCR do the frame in Cera-Hide black, and the slide in CP II.
    Here's one of my P6s.

I don't care for two tone guns, but the all tri-tanium one looks pretty great!

Nice P6. I wanted to reverse the colors so it stands out a little different than Sig's SAS series.

I like mine with the factory Black on Black Nitron.
Added the nickel trigger for style points.

How do you like the 357 sig in the 239 platform? It has always had me interested.

It's crazy accurate and the heavy SS slide soaks up the recoil big time.
It feels like a 9mm and hits like a )(&()).

My friend was blown away by the lack of recoil.
I highly recommend the P239 in 357 Sig.

I like mine enough that I may later compliment it with a P239 in either 40 S&W or 357 Sig.

To me your gun looks great as it is.
Just remember, if you want to sell it, people tend not to pay for the refinishing.
Often it actually will reduce the value of the gun.

I'm really wanting to do the same thing with mine. I've been very fond of the tritanium look with the wood grips.

Part of me is still leaning towards a thick glossy black finish with just the controls being done in the tritanium for a highlight.

    Good looking p239 either way!

I think the Two-Tone with wooden grips would look sharp.

Not the OP, but I hate rubber grips on carry guns, much prefer G10, plastic, or even wood. Moderately aggressive texturing is best. Gives a great grip in hand without sticking to clothes.
