Mark over at Summit has a smokin' deal on these so I think I may have found my PX4 replacement so I can shoot up all that 40 cal I've loaded up. Question is, are these pretty decent or did they have problems like the P250's did? If they're rock solid guns with the traditional Sig quality then once the tax return money hits I'll order one if he still has em' in stock. The only semis I like better then Beretta is Sig and I'd love to pick up one especially for the price he has em' at. Thanks in advance for any info ya'll can give me about this gun.

Just watched a review that guy did on YouTube and it seemed pretty positive about the 2340 but he really loved the 2022 even more. Either way if I can get a Sig SP2340 40cal for $375-$400(depending on which one I get, there's 3 choices) I think it'd be a totally smokin' deal and it'll give me something to shoot all this 40cal ammo I've got loaded up. Ya'll cross your fingers and pray that Mark still has these in stock when we get our tax return money.

That sounds like an awesome deal, and I would definately get about 8 extra mags along with it.

Sig mags are outrageous right now, you wont find a better deal than that.

That's a pretty good deal. The SA/DA SigPros are pretty good shooters. I couldn't stand my DAO SP2009. Worst trigger ever. But, you wouldn't have to worry about that with these.

I don't have a 2340, but my daily carry is a SP2022 and it is a great gun.

    I don't think there's a ton of difference between the 2340 and the SP2022. I have a SP2022 in 40S&W and I love it.

From the video I watched the differences are very minor. My Dream Gun has always been a Sig P229 but even used they cost a lot. I think this might be a good substitute for the P229 and like everyone has said, the price is totally awesome. Hope he still has some by the time the tax return hits the bank.

Well, I got the ol' "You're not working, you're not getting any of the income tax refund money." speech when the wife got home. Guess I either find a job or just content myself with my little 642 until I do. :crying:

Tough break Frank. Trade off that stash of .40S&W for some .38spl and call it a day.

I don't know why the Pawn Shop gig hasn't come through yet. It's been a couple three weeks and no call, no interview, nothing. I almost feel like I've been cursed in this town with not being able to find a job(any job) in over two years.
I really, really would like one of these Sig Pros, you just can't beat the price for Sig quality, 12+1, 40cal.
