I would snatch it up fast. Great price for a unused gun. I say unused because i can run 300-1200with rounds thru a 1911 in a day. Twenty rounds... not even close to breaking in.

I owned a Sig 1911 and unfortunately had to sell it to pay some bills. It was an extremely well built gun for the money. I did have a problem with some odd wear on the slide stop which was causing malfunctions. When I called up Sig to let them know they only wanted a serial number so they could send me the correctly finished slide stop for it. Apparently I had bought one of the first reverse two tones and the rep wasn't sure what model # it was. After I replaced the part it functioned flawlessly. Looking at 1911s in that price range ($850) it had the most features I wanted and the right quality. I compared it side by side with similar 1911s from Springfield, S&W, Kimber, and Colt and it was the only one with front strap checkering which I ended up really liking.

It was a beautiful pistol and I'm sad I had to let it go.

If I was in the market for another 1911 I would jump on a Sig, even a base model, for $600.

well i decided to pass on it.
i dont need, nor did i really want a 1911, it was a great deal (especially in canada)
i decided its better to put that $ towards the AR that i want to get, and the 10.3 Daniel Defense just went up on pre-order...
