I found a 228 with a nickel slide any info and possible worth thanks.
The P228 is a great pistol, accurate solid and fairly concealable.
As for what is worth I depends on the condition, the box, number of magazines. Normfally I'd say $550 for one with the box in good conditions, but these day prices are really inflated so it's likely it will be priced higher.
Thanks for the reply
Is it factory nickel slide? Or refinished slide? If it's factory nickel slide, with all paper, and factory box that says so, and in excellent condition, it can go as high as $900. Factory 2-tone nickel P228s are a little rarer compared to the regular black ones.
If it's a refinished slide, however, then all bets are off.
I used to own a SIG Sauer P226 factory Electroless Nickel. It was manufactured, in the late 80's, and had West Germany marked on the slide. It was in excellent condition, and was fired only a few times. I sold it about a year ago for $1,000 in a private sale.
They are excellent guns.
I'm fairly certain it's factory nickle slide thanks again for the replies.
