Looking for some help from the GT braintrust here. I have a P220ST-R that I bought used from a member on here. It had some extraction problems when I shot it, so a friend who is also a Sig Armorer, replaced the extractor and fixed that problem. Now, it will not run in DA 90% of the time. Sometimes the trigger will pull the hammer back, but when it falls the gun will not discharge. Some times it shoots fine, and sometimes the trigger seems completely disengaged...pulled to the rear and will not move the hammer. The decock spring (inside the right grip) feels "wrong". It looks okay, but it has a lot of play in it. Sometimes you can feel it moving underneath the grip when decocking or pulling the trigger. Armorer buddy is out of town for a while and I hate bothering him with my charity jobs. I suspect that the decock spring is out of spec. Aside from the physical problems noted above, I think the fact that the hammer falls and the gun does not discharge would suggest that something is stopping the firing pin from moving when struck, which I guess I'm thinking could be de-cock related. Anybody got any thoughts? (and no, I don't have access to another 220 and the decock spring on my older 226 is too different to reliably compare).
