I'm looking at possibly getting the C3 from sig and wanted to know what everyone's impressions are of the gun and how much you think is a fair price. It's the Crimson Trace Version.

    Thank you for any input!

    In the SEC
I have one and have not had a single problem with it. They are not the best 1911 on the market, but they are also not priced as such.

Well, after those lukewarm endorsements, let me give you hope.

I have one, CT model, paid 799 on sale. I have attended a couple training classes with it and have had an occasional stoppage the first 500 rounds probably. I can't recall it missing a beat afterwards. It's light, very accurate, and I have bathed mine in Froglube and she just gets smoother as time passes. I trust the pistol for carry and think it's a nice choice. It points naturally and it's weight won't pull your pants down.

I recall the facctory mags were an issue at first and I went to Checkmate and Tripp with no issues at all. When I called Sig and advised, a nice lady just sent me new mags with no proof I ever bought the gun, nice service!
