I know a few people that have bough them.
One had issues, sent it in for jamming Sig fixed it in three weeks
Two others have not had a single issue

In the past, I've posted pictures of mangled springs, beat up barrels, stories of P238s going back to Exeter multiple times, and warned people to pass on this pistol.

If you can't resist the impulse, after you shoot a few hundred rounds, let us know it is holding up. Maybe the bugs have been ironed out. :)

I've had one since January 2nd of this year. I've been carrying it since that time, I have not had any issues and enjoy shooting it.

I've had about 6 to 8 other people fire it, and everyone of them enjoyed shooting it...

I can honestly say I love mine and I trust my life to it.

    Stay Safe!!!

Picked it up today and took it straight to the range. Shot 150 rounds and no problems at all.
Looks like I might have a winner here!

Also figured out my Colt Pony mags work perfect in this gun and vice versa!

Between 300 and 500 rounds keep a check on the recoil spring for weakening .

    :agree:

    That's what's chewing up the little P238s.

Went to the range again with my little P238 today and I am really liking it so far!

Shot 100 rds of WWB, 100 rds of UMC, and 20 rds of Remington hollow points.

The good - This is one accurate little gun for me, very lite recoil. No failures to eject, no failures to feed except for below.

The (not so) bad - The slide kept locking back on me for the first 100 rds or so every 3rd or 4th round!
I thought at first I was engaging it with my hand / finger during recoil, but figured out that it wasn't me.
Pulled the slide off and found that the little spring that keeps tension on the slide release was not sitting in the groove like it should be. The bottom part of the spring was 1mm or 2 above the lower edge of the cut out for the spring, so I pulled the bottom of the spring out, bent it downwards a bit, put it back in, and presto, the last 100 rounds were flawless. It was allowing the slide release to move upwards during recoil and just every so slightly engaging the slide. Once I "added" more tension to it I was good to go.
I might have accidentely bent the spring upwards during my assembly after cleaning when I got back from my first range trip. I had some problems getting the slide release back in the first time.
I hope my description of the problem makes sense!

Tore it apart once I got home and the recoil spring, barrel and everything else looks like new after a total of 370 rounds.
