IMO you'll have a G19, just shorter. I have all the different size mags for my G27 threaded barrel conversion to 9mm from Lone Wolf including the 33 rounder. Have fun!

I like my G26, my wife likes the G19. I would keep the 26 and save for the 19.

I wish you were closer, I was thinking of trading my G19 for a G26. I keep hoping to win one at the GSSF but that's not working out.

Like an earlier posts said. I sold a 26 to buy a CZ Rami alloy frame.
Then 1 year later bought 26 again and got rid of Rami hated the mags.
    Just liked 26 better.

When my employment went from a small PD to a 250 person Sheriff Dept, the G17 was the Patrol issue, G19/26 was Detectives and Admin carry choice. I had the G19, still do, and feel it is a trade off between the others. The G26 is a great choice, all can mix and match mags, holsters and mag cases. If I didn't have a G19... a G26 would be fine.
Sometimes I carry a G21 strong side, G19, mirror image left side. No issues with either. Both are 3rd Gen.
