A buddy gave me just over 500 bullets, only problem is they suck. Rainer 200gr. I have about 500-600 of my own left before I switch to Zero 230's permanently.

Coincidentally, these are the same bullets I ran for my SA vs NH 1000 round test. I'm thinking about doing another just to burn the ammo up once I get time to load them.

Test is simple, 1000 rounds, no cleaning, but this time I'll go easy on the oil. I report ALL failures.

So, what 1911 deserves the ammo? Or more importantly, what pistol would someone like to see subjected to this.

    CQB?
    TRS?
    NH Enforcer, again?

Not too many others to choose from right now.

You can send it to me and I will give it to Don. I think I owe him like 500 rounds anyway. :whistling:

I'm leaning towards the CQB too, but wouldn't mind doing it to the TRS either. I get the best part, plus the Dillon makes the small amount of work quick.

It would make it easier on me having more hands to reload, but I'm confined to a dungeon 6-7 days a week. Full time work and school don't always mix.

Quack is usually jetsetting around the country anyway. Well, the offer still stands.....Knedrgr, Lawdog, RSX, and I will shoot all that ammo through your nicely appointed 1911s if you ever need more hands.

    I could I guess :dunno:

I just did 1K though the NH but wouldn't mind another round. Might be fun to run them both at the same time.

It seems the TRS is getting no love...

I was in Auburn, IN last weekend, so not sure how close i was to GJ's area.

i say use the 1000 rounds in the cheapest 1911 that you have.

Except for the NH (since I don't have a holster), I usually rotate my 1911's. Since the controls/feel are the same it works. Usually run one as a range/training pistol until it gets 1000-1500 rounds then cleaning it and carry it.

CCW one goes to range use and repeat the whole process.

About an 1hr east from my lovely dump of a town.

The cheapest 1911 I own is my worked over GI, which may get sent back soon to fix a problem.

I think I'll do the CQB but I won't decide for a few weeks.

The TRS so you can shut up all the smack talking fools who say Baer is too tight to be reliable.

The oddest thing, my Baer wasn't that tight to begin with. It was a little snug to rack for the first 200 or so rounds but is very smooth now, only about 1500 rounds in so far.

It's getting a Chen MW and a refinish, but I may run it when it is FINALLY done.

I think I'll run 300-400 though my SA tonight while I decide , but it seems the Wilson might be the "peoples" vote.
