I have an old Glock 30 with an E series frame that is eligible for replacement based on the serial number. I'm wondering if there would be any negatives to replacing the frame. I assume Glock will also upgrade other parts as well such as the rsa with current parts. Do newer G30's have ejection issues like some of the other newer Glocks (the 19 and 17)? This gun has always been reliable with all ammo and I'm hesitant to mess with it. Was there a high failure rate in E series frames? I remember the Glock said they anticipated less than 1% of these guns would fail. I'll be going to Atlanta soon, getting this frame replaced would be my excuse for stopping at Glock HQ, but I'm not really sure i want to mess with this thing.
