Is there a shooting match that has a better "cost to earnings ratio" that you DO shoot?

If so, enlighten the rest of us. :dunno:

I am not aware of any other shooting venue that has a prize schedule as generous as that of a GSSF match.

    misunderestimated

I haven't found my next match yet, there is only the one in Missoula so far in my state, but Idaho isn't all that far for me? I will try very hard to be at Missoula next year.

I shoot the match for fun & enjoyment. I'm not competitive enough to win anything, that'd be nice, but the shooting & comaradery at the match is worth the trip, (it's a 3 hour drive for me) a fellow we didn't even know gave my Wife a pair of shooting glasses when the RO told her she needed them even behind the firing line.
On top of that the access to a certified Glock armorer is a huge benifit. I had a great day just shooting & watching others shoot. To me it's FUN!

You really ought to shoot some, they are a great way to blow some ammo & have fun.

you don't know if you could win anything

until you look at the finals and see if you won a random

and they are not posted YET

    think good thoughts

  9. I'm going to try to go to the one in MO and IL this year.

DOES anyone know if you can share a gun to compete????

My dad would also like to go and I have a G22 and a G27. My plan is to shoot in the sub compact and the full size category.

If I have to buy another Glock, I would not cry about it. Would like to have Glock number 3 saving the money for one now.

  10. You can share guns - first shooter shooting a complete stage(courses of fire), then removing the gun from the line, loading the mags and the second shooter coming to the line with the gun. They are treated as the totally separate events that they are. Ask the ROs to clarify for you and follow their guidance for the procedure.

with one or two shooters in between

    it can go smoothly

just tell the range officer what you are doing

so they can arrange the spacing

  12. Thanks... and for answering on my other post.
