  3. A Sharps Pepperbox was used by Holmes in the series featuring the late Jeremy Brett. In "The Final Problem" Holmes faces his mortal enemy Moriarty with one, and in another, "The Greek Interpreter" Mycroft Holmes, (Sherlock's irrassable brother) "acquires" another Sharps from a laughing fiend and holds him for the police.
