    Is this worth $75?

Lee Pro 1000 Progressive reloading press. .223Rem. This press is setup to reload .223rem. The dies are included. This press is in good shape, just needs to be setup and used.

Yes, it is a good deal, ASSuming it is as represented in the add. Most craiagslist transactions end in a prostitution arrest or a missing person's report. There is more than $75.00 worth of gear there and I would grab it myself just to have another Pro1000.

I've bought and sold thousands of dollars of stuff on craigslist so I'm not worried about that I guess. What is the setup worth do you think? It'll cost me thirty in gas to go pickup...

Figure $0.50 per mile, not just the gas, because you wear your entire vehicle, not just the fuel. $75.00 for the press, at least $30.00 for the transportation, plus your time, and you are starting to get closer to the break-even point on getting a new one. A new one is less likely to have problems, many of which are caused by self-professed geniuses who think they know how to fix a Pro1000. That thing could be brand new and good to go, or it could be a real can of worms.

Check out Midway, Graff's and other places to see what new press will run you and keep in mind it will show up on your front step. Then decide if it worth the trouble to get the used one.

Midways has the Pro1000 in 223 for $175.00. It comes with the upgraded powder measure which is a big improvement over the one pictured in your OP. The upgrade on the measure is probably worth another $20.00 on top of all your other costs, so you are getting closer still to breaking even.
