settings.....need help

    there is no longer a place at the top of any page i am on to click on " back " or " forward" .
    is this called a tool bar or ? ..... do i need to go to " settings " or what to restore this problem ?:dunno:

    need help and thanks
    please DO explain , in steps, on how i can restore this function.:cool:

    are you talking about Internet Explorer ? Or Mozilla Firefox?

    Usually that is changeable from the menu, the VIEW option.

    Something like VIEW->TOOLBARS->Navigation, or something like that.

    You CAN'T turn off the back/forward buttons in IE 7 or later, you're either talking about IE 6 or Firefox I'm assuming? What I specified above does the trick for Firefox, IE 6 should be similar.

    Just try each of the options, if that doesn't do it, undo that change and try another.

    This works. Or you could simply right click in a dead area of the menu bar and it should bring up a menu of every toolbar you can activate. You want to reactivate the navigation toolbar.
