... from my wife's S&W M&P 22 (CCI Mini-Mags). She shot 100 rounds and took it regularly to the face, head, both arms, and two to the chest, but the 22s have a rep. for that :)

I put 100 rounds through the G17 gen 4, 15 were Corbon DPX, 115 gr. +p and the rest were 124 gr. from Good To Go ammo. Nothing hit me.

50 more rounds through the G31 gen 4 with a combo of Buffalo Bore (JHP and Tac-XP) and FMJ's from Good To Go - all 125 gr. I think they ejected into an alternate parallel universe :)

I would guess that if you can get a Umarex to go through 100 rounds without jamming that is good regardless of where the empties eject.

But I admit I can be very pessimistic. I am still amazed that a Bauer managed to fire long enough wear an extractor without blowing up.

Pardon the ignorance, but what does BTF mean?

Sorry - Brass To Face or a generally accepted catch-all for erratic ejection.

Regarding the M&P, we've put over 500 rounds of CCI mini-mags through it without a single failure. It's been a great starter pistol for my wife, who a few years ago would have sworn she would never pick up a gun ... until our complex was broken into twice and the second incident only five doors away.

YIKES! Sounds serious. Did you rush her to the hospital? I heard emergency rooms are filling up with folks who received serious facial lacerations from BTF with Glocks. It's becoming known as the "BTF Syndrome". Interns are being briefed (and debriefed) on this serious situation and the UN is expected to rule on it.

 What's sad is that the UN is probably stupid enough to do just that!

I have an M&P 22 and haven't gotten brass to the face. But, it ejects very hard, up and to the right. Works great until you're at an indoor range and the brass bounces of the right, then left walls and gets inside your collar and down your back. Managed to do that twice in one visit.

I never heard of that either until I became a GT member.
Fortunately my gen 3 G27 has only lashed out at me twice
    in 5000+ rounds.
