A friend of mine has an old Sears model 35 Pump-action 22 rifle which is a family heirloom and seems in good condition, but the barrel is loose in the receiver. Any help on what may be causing this or how to disassemble it would be GREATLY appreciated.

The information I have on the Sears (Higgins) Model 35 is that it was made by High Standard. Here is a schematic of that rifle. Hope it helps.
