I have the latest SW617 22lr revolver, 6-inch barrel, 10-rounds, and I am looking for a good mount/rings and scope.

I have run across a youtube video for Weigand mounting instructions so I checked their website, it offers a decent mount and two rings for total about $62

Some websites sell the same for about the same price so I doubt I find a better deal. Is this mount/rings good enough? Anything better? Will it handle SW686 357Mag too?

What about a good scope? I saw Bushnell Trophy 2-6x32 for about $200 at a local store. Is it safe to assume that most scopes are 1 inch and these rings will fit them all?

What are the main sources where gunsmiths get their mounts and rings?
