The SB1007 Magazine ban being likely to pass :crying:, I am curious how you guys will deal with your existing mags. The ban won't apply to what we own or acquire before the effective date of the ban (and possibly 90 days after that date), but how will we be able to show that we comply with the law if asked :cop:? I don't have receipts for all my mags and would have a hard time proving when I got them. I always make sure I am in line with the law, and even though this one will be tough to enforce, how can we effectively show we legally own our mags? Just wondering.

Right now it is a wait and see deal. They could say if you do not have a receipt than the mag has to go. They may not do anything other than ban the sale of more hi caps in IL. They could come back next year with an amendment that all hi caps have to go.
