They only debated it for 2 hours and I haven't quite looked at the different ammendments, but it passed.

    1) The public gathering rule has been eliminated,
    2) The 1000 foot safety zone about college has been removed,
    3) An "enhanced" license has been formed for those with basic firearm training to allow greater reciprocity.

  2. Great news! I've been trying to find out if this passed today. Where do you find details about this? I don't even see it posted on GCO yet.

  3. Ahh... I found it. Looks like it passed 41-12 and now goes to the house. :woohoo:

After some delay the bill finally got a hearing today in the House Judiciary Committee. I just heard on the radio news that it passed the committee. I don't know the vote, but from here it goes to the floor of the House.

Some amendments were attached, so once it passes the House there will be reconciliation, but this is great news nonetheless.

Write or call your rep and get them to support this bill!
