savage model 64 dry fire

    Hey all, is it bad ju ju to dry fire my model 64 savage .22? Ive owed a ton of guns but for one reason or another this is my first rim fire.

    Dry-firing most rimfires is a bad thing. There are some that it won't hurt, but they are the exception to the rule.

    Check your instruction/owner's manual, dry firing should be addressed somewhere in there.
