    Swiss Veal Bratwurst (home made of course) on a red wine onion Sauce with Roesti, accompagned with an exellent South Australian Shiraz :)

    Cook potato the day before
    Grate them coarse, add salt
    Put butter in a frying pan bake em golden

    you can use uncooked potatoes, but squeeze them well to remove all excessive moisture

    That almost reminds me of a dish our chef made. (He was THE best chef that worked for my parents when they were in the hotel and restaurant business years ago.)

    Our chef's name was Rick and he was from Australia. (I can't remember exactly where he was from in Australia, though.) He was my favorite. I loved to listen to him talk...and his food was amazing!!!

    I also love your food threads, Ossi!

    Yep I heard about it, and I actually tried it :)
    It's made from Milk Protein, We used it for the Airline Catering Industry. Because they have such small plates every steak has to be the same size.
    But we used small Tenderloins, put two together Head to point, rolled into plastic to give them a uniform size and then cut them into steaks.

    Unfortunately there is a lot of cheating going on.
