Just built a new computer P4 3.0 ghz (socket 775). WD 200 gig SATA hard drive, Win XP home (SP2) Gigabyte GA-81915P Duo Pro motherboard, all current drivers, and BIOS. The hard drive only reads as a 127 gig in my computer, will I only have 127 gig available, and is there a fix for this?

Thanks for any ideas you may have!

Any Clue how to fix it without starting over, and re installing windows?

Only a guess, but you might want to try downloading the Data Lifeguard Tools 11 for Windows from the WD support site. It appears to support large drives in systems without you having to buy a special controller card.
